I'm a college graduate who taught at a French immersion elementary school, and I speak French fluently after serving a church mission in Tahiti. My husband and I have been married for 11 years, and together we have three wonderful children. I stay busy serving on my children's PTA board, participating in local government, and researching current events for a political podcast I recently started. Most of my days revolve around raising our active, talkative 3-year-old, helping my kids with science and art projects, reading for book clubs, and watching documentaries while folding laundry. My husband and I love talking about everything, watching sports and documentaries together, and spending time as a family. We're fortunate to have my parents living just 10 minutes away while my dad works in the Washington, D.C., area. I also love reading to my kids and started a monthly children's book playlist with over 225 books. Living near a state park and watching the trees change with the seasons is one of my favorite parts of where we live.

I would love annual updates, most easily attainable in the form of Christmas cards or newsletters. I do not currently have any plans to maintain an in-person relationship with the family but would love to see and know a bit about their life experiences as a family, if they'd like to share that.
